A bit of ingenuity

One of the donated tops I've received was from Clare Crosswell of Blenheim. It was a pretty colourwash top but too small to use as it was. With a thin border to bring it up to size, and a row of hearts, it's now a lovely lap quilt. Thanks Clare!

Great work! The Quilts are looking beautiful! Wish I lived closer so I could help with the stitching you still have to do on the Quilts.

Absolutely gorgeous. You've done a great job extending the top and enhancing the centre. Fabulous.

Hi Shirley, I have only just come across your blog about these heart blocks. As this is a subject close to my heart (my grandfather was killed in a mining disaster in the UK) I would like to contribute, but I cant really commit to anything now until after Christmas. Do you have a cut off point for sending the hearts? Linda
