The Impatient Ruster

I only left this fabric on the rusted implements for a day. Truly I am impatient.
This morning I dried and ironed the second round of soy wax fabrics before going to work. No, I didn't iron anything else in the ironing pile. Why do you ask?

I was pleased with the results, but need to find more items to use for stamping.

The top rusted fabric looks great - I too and way too impatient and kept opening the parcels and 'checking' on my fabrics. The beauty is they are pretty quick to react.

Why would you iron anything else? If you're anything like me you'll iron the newly died fabrics, iron that seam open on the latest quilt or fuse one fabric to another, but iron other stuff - why? This is why my wardrobe is full of wash and wear no ironing required clothes and yet the ironing board is permanently set up....

Belated Happy Birthday, Shirley. We are one month and 3 years apart!!

I would love to come for the Symposium. Next year is already booked up but 2011 is doable! Joey will be off to uni by then. Do they have it at the same time every year???

As my son said when he was about 2 (too many years ago to mention) "You know, that boat thing you use when you sew."
